Currently Two Types of Volunteering Opportunities:
Domestic Abuse Advisor
“I was retired out of the NHS due to health reasons but I missed work and wanted to use my skills to support others. DAVSS interested me as a way to give back to others for the various supportive services I had received throughout my life. To help and support people is the basis of why I volunteer, to feel that I am making a difference. The best part is to be able to help a person to be safe in a challenging situation, helping them to find their voice, support them to get their needs met and witness them blossoming because of this.” – DAVSS Volunteer.
