Domestic Abuse Volunteer Support Services - talk to us

Helping Us

Complex and longstanding abuse is a hidden crime and something that cannot be resolved easily. This is why DAVSS provides individual Domestic Abuse Advisors to support clients on a one-to-one basis. We always need more people to join our existing team of dedicated volunteer workers.

This could be your opportunity to make a real difference:

Volunteer as a Domestic Abuse Advisor or join the Helpline Team

We are planning to start the next volunteer training course On Thursday 28th February 2019.

It is not always easy work but as many of our current volunteers attest, it is one of the most rewarding things they do. With full training, professional management, clinical supervision and mentoring you will be fully supported in your role. Please see the information pack below or email for more information about these interesting roles.

Administration, fundraising and publicity

We also need volunteers to help with administration, committee meetings, fundraising and publicity. Please see the Information Pack below or email DAVSS is a community-based charity and runs only though grants and private donations.

If you are interested in volunteering as a Domestic Abuse Advisor, becoming part of the Helpline Team or helping out with administration, fundraising or publicity, please follow the link below:
